Sharon Keenan

Sharon Keenan is an Audit Partner with over 20 years of experience in public and private accounting. She works closely with clients to understand their unique business drivers and customises engagements that directly respond to their needs, taking a collaborative approach while ensuring the firm meets the highest quality professional standards.

 

She has served both public and private companies across diverse industries, including consumer products, retail, technology, biotech, healthcare, management companies, financial services, and employee benefit plans. She brings extensive expertise in U.S. domestic and multinational organizations and entities owned by private equity firms.

 

Her experience includes working with large SEC entities including Sarbanes Oxley compliance, registration statements, as well as public and private middle-market companies. She has helped clients streamline business processes to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency. Sharon advises on complex accounting issues, M&A due diligence, and regulatory compliance and partners with private companies and start-ups to support growth and governance.

 

Sharon is a member of the firm’s audit leadership program, which provides support to engagement teams, and she is one of the founding members of Women in Technology, a networking group. Additionally, Sharon was on EisnerAmper’s Learning and Development Advisory Board, where she contributed to designing and implementing the firm’s training curriculum.

 

Prior to entering public accounting, Sharon served as the Financial and Administrative Manager at a large medical practice group affiliated with New York University Hospital, where she designed, developed and implemented best practices for billing, insurance claims and office management.
