Samit Shah

Samit Shah is a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Group, with over 10 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to alternative investments, including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund of funds and private investment partnerships. His expertise also includes financial reporting, and pension plan audits. Samit also provides audit, and financial consulting services to offshore hedge funds, broker-dealers and private equity funds.

Additionally, Samit is responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements for U.S. based investment funds for EisnerAmper Fund Services LLC (wholly owned subsidiary of EisnerAmper LLP), and is therefore able to draw on the resources of one of the leading full-service accounting and advisory firms in the U.S.

Prior to joining the firm, Samit was with a multinational investment bank and financial services company. He was part of their financial reporting team and was involved in review and preparation of financial statements for hedge funds and private equity clients as per U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Also, he reviewed the monthly NAV released to hedge fund clients as a part of Quality Assurance and Review team.
