Tom Pyper

Tom Pyper is a Partner in the firm’s Columbus, Ohio office with nearly 15 years of public accounting experience providing audit and assurance services to clients in the not-for-profit, commercial real estate, public housing authority, and multifamily affordable housing sectors.

Tom specializes in serving both public housing authorities as well as owners, developers, and management companies within the affordable housing industry, with an emphasis on those with portfolios of LIHTC and HUD-financed projects.

Tom takes pride in building strong relationships with his clients and providing excellent client service. He is known for his ability to advise and coach his clients through their technical accounting issues and regulatory requirements. 
 
In addition to his client service, Tom was a leading technical contributor within the affordable housing and single audit industries at his previous firm. He is also a frequent attendee and presenter at several regional and national affordable housing industry conferences.
 
 Prior to joining the firm, Tom was a Partner at Tidwell Group, LLC, a full-service accounting firm specializing in the real estate sector across the United States, with a focus on affordable housing, conventional real estate, and not-for-profit industries.
