Scott Wright

Scott Wright is a Managing Director in EisnerAmper’s Cyber Risk Services practice. With nearly four decades of experience in the federal government and private industry, he helps organizations navigate complex geopolitical and security challenges, providing strategic guidance on countering cyber fraud risk and remediation, Insider Risk programs, advanced due diligence/KYC/KYE, supply chain security, and crisis management.

Scott advises a broad range of clients—including Fortune 500 companies, private sector firms supporting the U.S. Intelligence Community, external legal counsel, insurance carriers, and family offices—on matters involving business intelligence, counterterrorism, and digital and insider risk reduction. His work bridges the intersection of cyber, physical, and operational security, enabling clients to anticipate emerging threats and safeguard critical assets.

Scott served in the Central Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Operations (DO) for over three decades, including as the third in command in the DO’s C-Suite.  Throughout his career, Scott has led global intelligence collection operations and counterintelligence initiatives, engaging directly with foreign government officials, U.S. policymakers, and interagency partners, and was a Senior Intelligence Service Executive. His leadership has strengthened public–private collaboration and enhanced resilience across industries facing elevated risk exposure.

Before joining the firm, Scott was a Partner at a global consulting firm, where he oversaw complex asset trace and advanced due diligence initiatives, countering digital fraud, multi-jurisdictional supply chain efficacy, advised on complex international operations, and supported both government and private sector clients in high-stakes environments.
