Richard A. Cleaveland

Richard Cleaveland is an Audit Partner with over 30 years of experience and is the Practice Leader for the Firm’s SEC Assurance practice. Rich has expertise in working with companies in the software, life sciences, and manufacturing and distribution industries.

 

Rich has been recognized for his extensive experience serving public companies, including some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients. Rich provides comprehensive accounting, auditing, and business advisory services to companies in both the public and private sectors. He has significant experience with business combinations, debt and equity instruments, revenue recognition, and complex restructurings. In addition, Rich has significant expertise in assisting clients with initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and other transactions.

 

In his current role as the Practice Leader of the SEC Assurance Practice, Rich leads a team of over 100 professionals nationwide in delivering audit services to public companies, all committed to upholding the highest standards of audit quality.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Rich worked for a Big 4 accounting firm for almost 10 years, during which time he was a member of the Technology, Information, Communications, and Entertainment Industry Practice Group.
