Gina Rachel

Gina Rachel is the National Leader of the Tax Not-for-Profit Services Practice and a Partner in the firm’s Tax Services Group. Gina has nearly 30 years of public accounting experience. Her broad technical knowledge have positioned her as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base seeking clarity and strategy in a constantly evolving tax landscape.

Gina’s leadership in the Not-for-Profit sector is recognized nationally, and she is frequently sought out for guidance on complex compliance and regulatory issues affecting exempt organizations. Gina’s practice also spans to individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and gift taxation. She provides in-depth tax planning and consulting services designed to help clients anticipate challenges, mitigate risk, and optimize their financial outcomes. She also has experience representing clients before the IRS.

Prior to joining the firm, Gina was a Director at Postlethwaite & Netterville (P&N), a leading full-service accounting and business advisory firm. In addition to her focus on client service, Gina is active in the accounting profession and the community. She is a frequent speaker, regularly presenting on tax topics at conferences, seminars, and professional organizations. and is known for translating complex tax matters into practical, actionable insights for audiences of all backgrounds. She is a past Council member of the AICPA, past Chair of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and Past President of the New Orleans Chapter of the LCPA. Committed to giving back to her community, Gina serves on several nonprofit boards, applying her tax expertise and passion for service to support organizations making a meaningful impact.
