Douglas Tapp is a Tax Director, specializing in tax advisory for mergers & acquisitions.  With 30 years of public accounting experience, Doug has provided innovative, strategic, and tax-efficient solutions to clients engaged in complex deals, helping them acquire and sell.  

Throughout his career, Doug has advised a diverse range of clients, including private equity firms, family offices, and emerging companies, guiding them through the tax implications of acquisition and divestiture transactions.  In addition to providing deal-specific advice, Doug assists clients by navigating tax planning and compliance matters before, during, and after the acquisition process. Doug also works closely with corporate law teams to ensure that the tax aspects of deals are in alignment with clients' overall strategic goals.

Doug is a member of the Eisner Advisory Group's National Tax Group with a specialty in partnership taxation.  He regularly instructs his colleagues on matters related to partnership taxation and mergers & acquisitions.
