Andrew Halperin is a Partner in the fim’s Financial Services Group, specializing in assurance and advisory services for hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, private credit, real estate funds, and funds of funds.  His career spans 25 years in public accounting at EisnerAmper and a Big 4 firm, complemented by 5 years as an equity research analyst, during which he provided investment research and recommendations to portfolio managers.

His expertise covers a broad range of trading and investing strategies, with deep proficiency in financial products and valuation of financial instruments. He has experience consulting for registered investment advisers on regulatory compliance, and he is well-versed in SOX 404 and SOC 1 engagements, providing valuable insights into internal controls.

Leveraging experience as a prior leader in the National Office of Professional Practice, he served as the lead content developer for the Investment Companies industry module of the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS), a collaborative initiative with the AICPA, CPA.com, Caseware International, and leading firms.
