Daniel Mak is a Senior Manager the firm's International Tax Group, where he advises clients on complex cross-border tax matters. With nearly 15 years of experience, he helps multinational corporations, private equity firms, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals navigate U.S. international tax compliance, provision reporting, and planning opportunities.
Daniel closely works with clients in various industries, including technology, life sciences, real estate, and financial services. He addresses issues related to global structuring, foreign tax credits, tax treaties, and provisions under GILTI, BEAT, and FDII.
Before joining the firm, Daniel held roles at a Big 4 accounting firm and a corporate tax advisory firm, where he was actively involved in international and M&A tax projects, along with developing junior staff and presenting on tax technical topics.
