Blessy Eapen

Blessy Eapen is a Senior Manager in firm's Real Estate Services Group. With nearly 15 years of experience, she provides comprehensive tax consulting and compliance services to private equity real estate funds, joint venture partnerships, and REITs, including mortgage REITs and multi-tiered structures.

Blessy has deep technical knowledge in partnership taxation, including complex areas such as IRC Section 743/734 basis adjustments, 704(c) allocations, target income allocations, UBTI calculations, and sale calculations under Section 1250. She also leads K-1 reporting processes and reviews income tax projections for partnerships and corporations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across client deliverables.
Known for her collaborative approach, Blessy works closely with clients to address their evolving tax needs, overseeing REIT testing, compliance reviews, and asset memos. She is committed to developing high-performing teams and plays an active role in mentoring professionals within the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Blessy was a Senior Director at a global advisory firm where she managed the tax compliance and reported for a wide range of real estate-focused clients.
