On April 23, Ken Weissenberg, co-partner-in-charge of EisnerAmper’s Real Estate Services Group, was one of the key moderators for the firm’s first West Coast Private Equity Real Estate Summit.  The goal of this Summit, designed for senior-level individuals in the real estate industry, was to focus on the current West Coast investment environment. Those in attendance also had the chance to network with over 300 owners and developers, as well as leading LPs, GPs and other sources of private equity in the Bay Area.

Bloomberg Radio spoke with Ken from the Summit floor, where they hosted a live national broadcast.  In his interview, Ken discussed the rising status of the San Francisco Bay Area as a mega real estate investment location. He noted in his conversation with Bloomberg Radio that private equity is proving its value in real estate in markets all over the United States. Because of this trend, we are beginning to see real estate booms across the country in thriving cities like Los Angeles, Houston, Seattle and others.  Ken also commented on the increasing role of foreign investment in the Bay Area real estate, and how the new money coming in is changing the city.
