Yvette Garcia is a Partner in the Audit and Assurance Group with nearly 25 years of public accounting experience. Yvette provides extensive audit and accounting services to organizations in various industries, including broker-dealers, restaurants, franchises, hospitality (hotels and private clubs), non-profit, distribution, financial institutions, international banking, manufacturing, real estate, technology and telecommunications.

Yvette provides audit and business advisory services to both national and international public and privately held companies, including public offerings, capital formation and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, she is experienced in first-time audits for new engagement clients to gain a thorough understanding of the company and its internal control in order to assess the risk of material misstatement and the resulting audit procedures.

As an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Yvette served on the Technical Issues Committee. In the community, she is a volunteer at United Way of Miami-Dade - Education Impact Council and also served on the Audit Committee and the Women’s Leadership Council.

Prior to joining the firm, Yvette was an Audit Principal and Principal-in-Charge of On-Campus Recruiting and Learning and Development at a national accounting firm.
