Michael Breit, Partner-in-Charge of EisnerAmper’s Sports and Entertainment Group was a guest on the Jeremy Marks-Peltz program on ESPN Radio 106.3 FM.  And whether the topic was NBA free agency, Mike Trout’s record-breaking contract, legalized gambling in football, or the money pouring into NCAA basketball pools, Michael got to the bottom line. He examined the impact of taxes, residency, and the economy on both collective bargaining agreements and player contracts. The pair even discussed the possibility of some gifted high school student today who could—in a decade or so—get the first $1 billion contract in sports. And for the non-sports fans alike, Michael gave a few insights on what to look for with respect to recent tax reform.
