EisnerAmper Welcomes Nine New Partners

Firm Promotes Home Grown Leaders in Largest New Class

EisnerAmper today announced that it has admitted nine new partners, each a well-established professional with many years of providing outstanding client service.

In making the announcement, the firm’s chief executive officer, Charly Weinstein, said, “I am excited to welcome these world-class professionals to our Partnership. Our newest partners represent the diversity of the firm as well as our broad scope of services. They are the largest class of new partners for EisnerAmper, reflecting the rapid growth of our firm in which they have played, and will continue to play, such an important role.”

The new partners are experts in audit, tax, and advisory services with experience across many disciplines including asset management, internal audit and compliance, litigation consulting and forensic accounting, and public and private company accounting. Their expertise spans many industry groups including financial services, real estate, manufacturing, technology, life sciences, and not-for-profit, among others.

Jeffrey Buchakjian is a Partner in the Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services group of the firm’s Financial Advisory Services practice, which is one of the firm’s fastest growing offerings.  Jeff specializes in providing litigation consulting and forensic accounting services to attorneys, public and private corporations, and governmental agencies.  Among Jeff’s areas of expertise are complex commercial damages, internal investigations, and financial fraud.

Gautham Deshpande is an audit partner in the Financial Services group, with significant experience in accounting, audit and consulting for the securities and investment management industries. He leads the audits of private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, real estate partnerships, alternate investment vehicles, and investment advisors. Gautham’s expertise includes fair value measurements, complex financial instruments, and consolidation matters.

Joseph DiFalco is an audit partner and a leader in the Life Sciences and Technology group in the Philadelphia office. Joe has a depth of experience providing auditing and technical accounting consulting services to public and private clients in a variety of industries, including life sciences, manufacturing and distribution, and technology. He also assists clients with due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions. He helps guide the firm’s International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) initiative and educates clients on convergence to a single set of global financial standards and the impact on their businesses.

William P. Epstein is a partner in EisnerAmper’s Not-for-Profit Services group. Bill’s successful career in public accounting includes planning, administration and supervision for not-for-profit, governmental and commercial audit engagements, including for entities that receive government funding, require special compliance reporting, and have employee benefit plans. Bill also consults on the application of accounting principles, auditing standards and other regulations to the firm’s not-for-profit clients, and to his fellow partners and staff.

Alan Frank is a partner in the Consulting Services group with comprehensive experience in both public company and private industry advisory services. He provides consulting, internal audit, governance, risk, and compliance services to companies in the financial services, technology, construction, manufacturing and life sciences industries. Alan leads internal audit and consulting engagements for companies ranging from those with less than $100 million in revenue to the Fortune 1000, including multi-national enterprises. Alan has served as the outsourced internal audit leader for NYSE-listed entities.

Ana Hung is a partner in the Financial Services group. Ana’s notable background in taxation includes her expertise in serving private equity funds, funds of funds, venture capital funds, broker-dealers, hedge funds, and management companies. She provides tax compliance and consulting services to a broad range of financial services clients. Ana also has a specialization in the structuring of investment funds and the taxation of domestic investment partnerships and offshore investment companies.

 

Edward Opall is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Construction Services group. Ed’s remarkable background as a financial professional includes many years as a CFO in the real estate development and construction industries. In addition to financial statement audits and attestation services, he advises on operational and accounting process reviews, and forensic accounting engagements.

Ryan Raben is a partner in the Financial Services group. Ryan’s deep asset management experience in public accounting includes specializing in audits and accounting for private equity funds, hedge funds, funds of funds, investment advisors, broker-dealers and venture capital funds. Ryan also advises privately held middle-market companies in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries.
