EisnerAmper, a leading global business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Partner Benjamin Aspir has been named to the list of “Global Top 200 Cannabis Accountants 2026/27” by the Cannabis Law Report.

The Cannabis Law Report examined individuals and teams, reviewed the clients they’ve worked with, determined how long they’ve worked in and with cannabis businesses, and evaluated their contributions to knowledge about cannabis financial issues through articles, commentary, and participation at conferences and with cannabis-related associations.

In addition to being a member of the Cannabis and Hemp Group, Ben is a partner in the firm’s Private Client Services Group and a member of its National Tax Group. With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, his client base includes closely held and family businesses and their owners.

“The current environment necessitates specialized accounting services, making cannabis accountants crucial for businesses navigating these complexities,” said Cannabis Law Report Editor Sean Hocking.

“Cannabis accountants play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of cannabis businesses.”

“With a variety of financial and legislative hurdles, the cannabis sector faces constant uncertainty and evolution,” said Partner-in-Charge of EisnerAmper’s Manufacturing and Distribution Group, Travis Epp. “Without question, Ben has the comprehensive subject knowledge and industry engagement to navigate this often-challenging business sector.”

“Ben is a key member of our Cannabis and Hemp Group, propelling it forward in an often-volatile landscape,” said Partner-in-Charge of EisnerAmper’s Cannabis and Hemp Group, Gregory Chin. “Ben really has his pulse on the current market and a vision for its commercial potential.”
