Stephen Doneson is a Director in the firm’s National Office of Professional Practice with over 15 years of public accounting experience. Stephen advises the firm’s Audit and Assurance practice in accounting and financial reporting, and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters, while supporting firmwide audit quality and technical excellence initiatives.
Stephen consults on a broad range of technical issues, including SEC compliance, revenue recognition, business combinations, equity-based compensation, debt and equity financings, and other complex transactions.
Stephen has experience serving both public and private companies, including early-stage and high-growth organizations, across the life sciences, technology, entertainment, manufacturing and distribution, and insurance sectors. He has extensive experience assisting companies navigating IPOs, SEC reporting requirements, and other capital markets transactions.
Stephen is a member of the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences Group and a frequent contributor to the firm’s thought leadership initiatives.
