Josh De Sisto

Josh De Sisto is a Tax Director in the firm's Real Estate Services Group with nearly 15 years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to real estate and private equity clients, including real estate investment funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), debt funds, private equity platforms, and other real estate investment structures.

He advises clients across the full life cycle of investments and entities, from formation through operation, restructuring, disposition, and liquidation, along with the tax considerations that arise at each phase. His technical work covers complex partnership taxation, including income and debt allocations, carried interest considerations, and structuring and transactional analysis for domestic and foreign investors, real estate development projects, and private equity transactions.

Josh also has experience in state and local tax (SALT) matters, multi-state taxation, and foreign filing requirements. He has managed federal, state, local, and international tax compliance for sophisticated multi-tier investment structures. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with real estate funds, private equity sponsors, and high-net-worth investors.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was a Tax Director with a national accounting and advisory firm, where he managed tax compliance, planning, and advisory engagements for real estate funds, private equity platforms, sponsors, and high-net-worth investors.
