William Burns Joins EisnerAmper as a Tax Partner

EisnerAmper is pleased to announce that William Burns has joined the firm as a tax partner.

William, a CPA, has more than 25 years of public accounting experience providing tax compliance, planning, consulting and services for investment groups, real estate developers, real estate funds, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, service organizations and international business entities. His expertise extends to taxation issues affecting partnerships, closely held businesses and multi-state international organizations operating as S corporations and C corporations. William also provides tax advisory services to real estate companies, including acquisition and disposition strategies, 1031 exchanges and tenant-in-common transactions. He also works with complex partnership issues, including Section 704(b), 704(c) and 752 debt allocations.

William has a B.S. in Accounting from Drexel University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and is board chair of Kids Smiles, Inc. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Drexel University’s Drexel Experience Program. William is based at EisnerAmper’s Philadelphia office.
