YouTube announced that Trump will withdraw the United States from the free-trade agreement Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) leaving room for China.

Update: President-Elect Set To Scuttle TPP

In a late-November YouTube announcement, President-Elect Trump indicated that once he takes office, he immediately plans to inform the other 11 TPP nations of the United States’ decision to withdraw from the treaty. In an effort to fill this vacuum, China may proceed with the 10-nation Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, which includes Asian countries that are both part of the TPP, as well as nations not part of the treaty—such as India, South Korea and Indonesia.
