Allen Wilen Honored as Turnaround Consultant of the Year

EisnerAmper, a leading global business advisory firm, announced that Allen Wilen, Partner, has been named the Turnaround Consultant of the Year by the Global M&A Network. Allen received the award during the 12th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards virtual ceremony. This prestigious award honors the best value-creating transactions, outstanding firms, and leaders from the global restructuring, insolvency and distressed investing communities.

In addition, EisnerAmper received the Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year Award for the firm's contributions to the Philadelphia Academic Health System (“PAHS”) restructuring and the sale of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Allen, head of EisnerAmper's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Group, served as the Chief Restructuring Officer for PAHS; Ronald Dreskin, Principal-in-Charge of EisnerAmper's Health Care Services Group, served as Interim System CEO for PAHS.

Allen also serves as the National Director of EisnerAmper’s Financial Advisory Services Group where he leads a team of more than 100 professionals who assist clients through the litigation and restructuring process. Allen provides forensic accounting, valuation and litigation support services specializing in the areas of distress, debt restructuring and business disputes. In addition, he analyzes insolvent and troubled companies, advises in turnaround and crisis situations, counsels purchasers in the acquisition of assets within the bankruptcy arena, and provides expert advice to parties in civil matters.
