Todd S. Hankin

Todd Hankin is a Partner in the firm’s Assurance Services Group with more than 35 years of experience serving clients across the financial services and real estate sectors. He advises private real estate owners and operators, real estate funds, REITs, hedge funds, private equity funds, registered investment advisors, and commercial finance and leasing companies on complex accounting, reporting, and business matters.

 

Known for his thoughtful and solutions-oriented approach, Todd helps clients navigate challenges by bringing fresh perspectives, identifying opportunities, and delivering practical recommendations that support informed decision-making. His experience spans a wide range of financial structures and investment vehicles, enabling him to address both technical and operational considerations while helping clients achieve their strategic objectives.

In addition to his client work, Todd is committed to developing the next generation of professionals. He supports mentorship and professional development initiatives within the firm and shares his industry knowledge through speaking engagements, panel discussions, and conference presentations.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Todd implemented accounting policies for capital markets transactions involving complex derivative structures at a major national bank. Earlier in his career, he worked at a global accounting firm, where he focused on auditing loan portfolios and real estate assets for banking and savings-and-loan institutions.
