Sharon Prudent

Sharon Prudent is a Partner with over 20 years of experience in public accounting. She provides audit, review, compilation, and consulting services to a variety of clients with a focus on the real estate, hospitality, and food and beverage industries. She also conducts tax certiorari audits of New York City real estate properties.

Sharon also specializes in strategic business, tax consulting and planning for closely held business owners and their families. She also has expertise in estate planning for high net worth clients. Sharon has consulted on numerous IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, and provides tax preparation services for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and trusts

Prior to joining the firm, Sharon was an Audit Partner at Raich Ende Malter & Co. LLP (REM), a leading full-service accounting and auditing firm providing a wide variety of accounting, tax, and business advisory services to organizations of all sizes, emerging businesses, and high net worth individuals. She was also involved in REM’s Co Cares, a firmwide volunteering program that gives back through charitable gifts and environmental projects.

Before REM Sharon was a Senior Manager at a regional accounting firm. She also worked in private accounting as an auditor for the International Ladies’ Garment Workers Union (ILGWU).
