Scott Kaplowitch is the Partner in charge of the firm's New England offices. He is a highly experienced tax advisor with over 30 years of accounting, auditing, and tax expertise. Scott serves a diverse clientele, including high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives from various industries such as retail, professional services, real estate, construction, and technology. 

Scott's expertise encompasses various tax-related matters, including debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, and capital formation. He particularly excels in managing tax issues, including entity selection, stock options, international and multistate taxation, trusts and estates, foreign compensation and tax credits, and compliance, planning, and reporting.

Scott believes that proper planning and the right advice are crucial to maximizing assets and minimizing risks. His practical approach, which emphasizes spotting potential problems before they arise, ensures that his clients' financial concerns are addressed and their lives are made easier. He has been instrumental in helping clients develop strategies to minimize tax liability, analyze business transactions, provide comprehensive tax planning and reporting, represent clients before the IRS and other regulatory bodies, and advise on entity structuring for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and more. 

Prior to joining the firm, Scott was the Managing Partner at Edelstein, a leading Boston-based CPA firm providing comprehensive accounting, tax, and advisory services across multiple industries, including healthcare, financial services, and real estate.
