Kevin H. Besikof

Kevin Besikof is a Partner in the firm’s Financial Advisory Services Group with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in serving entrepreneurs, innovators, and high net worth individuals. He works with clients in a variety of industries, including advertising, legal, apparel, licensing, recycling, consulting, and manufacturing and distribution.

Kevin provides tax planning, compliance and profitability consulting for growing companies, integrated tax planning and compliance, consulting, and accounting outsourcing (YourBooks®) for family offices and growth-oriented companies. He helps clients achieve business and personal success from start-up to succession and believes a team-based approach is a key to his clients’ success with a focus on supporting his clients and guiding them toward making the right decisions for their businesses.

Kevin also provides business and intellectual property valuations for estate and gift taxes, transactions, and litigation matters. He serves as an expert witness, providing testimony and analysis of economic damages for cases involving valuation, taxes, patents, false advertising, trade secrets, business interruption, contracts, and other matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Kevin was a Partner at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm, which provided clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning and wealth management, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries including health care, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate and more. He led Lurie’s Marketing Services and Agencies team that delivered industry-focused tax, accounting, and consulting solutions. He launched Lurie’s YourBooks® service line and served as its first lead partner.

Before Lurie, he began his career at a Big 4 accounting firm and later served as the CFO of a manufacturing company.
