Jarod Wada

Jarod Wada is a Managing Director with Sherwood Partners, an EisnerAmper Company, bringing more than 25 years of experience advising organizations through restructuring, financial advisory, and strategic transactions. He works with management teams, boards, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders to help businesses navigate financial distress, improve performance, execute strategic transactions, and manage complex business transitions.

Jarod advises clients on restructuring matters, insolvency proceedings, debtor-side financing, and operational turnarounds. His experience includes leading assignments for the benefit of creditors (ABC) engagements, supporting Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, managing business operations and cash flow, overseeing asset sale processes, negotiating with creditors and vendors, securing debt financing, and directing pre- and post-petition reporting. He also has extensive experience in transaction advisory, valuation, merger integration, interim management, and business strategy.

Over the course of his career, Jarod has advised organizations across a variety of industries in both distressed and non-distressed situations. His experience includes serving in interim executive leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer, and Financial Planning & Analysis lead, as well as working on high-profile engagements involving organizations such as Delphi Automotive, Theranos, Hawaiian Telecom, Excite@Home, and Midway Games. He has also worked internationally on engagements spanning Mexico, Hong Kong, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Denmark.

Prior to joining EisnerAmper through the combination with Sherwood Partners, Jarod was a Managing Director with a global business advisory firm, where he advised companies on restructuring, corporate finance, and transaction matters. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications practice within the Financial Advisory Services group of a global accounting firm, where he helped clients navigate complex financial and operational challenges.
