James Wiltenmuth

James Wiltenmuth is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Services Group with over 15 years of public accounting experience. He leads financial statement audits for both public and private companies, with a primary focus on manufacturing and distribution, as well as construction and employee benefit plans.

James has deep experience managing complex audit engagements for manufacturing and distribution companies, including multi-location operations, inventory-intensive environments, and entities with sophisticated logistics and supply chain structures. His work often involves evaluating inventory costing methodologies, revenue recognition practices, and internal controls across interconnected operational functions.

James also has extensive expertise in auditing complex employee benefit plans, including large 401(k) plans, pension plans, ESOPs, and Form 11-K filings, working closely with plan sponsors and administrators to ensure compliance, strong controls, and accurate reporting.

Throughout his career, he has provided practical insight and technical guidance to management teams, helping organizations strengthen financial reporting, enhance internal controls, and address operational challenges across diverse industries and regulatory environments.

Prior to joining the firm, James served as an associate director at Postlethwaite & Netterville (P&N).
