Heather L. Dean

Heather L. Dean is the Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Raleigh Office. Heather has nearly 30 years of experience in public accounting and has deep expertise in corporate and international tax.

Heather works with clients in a variety of industries including life sciences, software and technology development, and manufacturing and distribution. Her experience in these industries includes corporate and partnership tax compliance, international and multi-state tax, tax provision and uncertain tax position calculations for multinational companies with multijurisdictional reporting requirements, domestic and cross-border business planning and consulting, and mergers and acquisitions. Heather’s international experience includes structuring and tax compliance for U.S. companies expanding internationally, as well as companies primarily headquartered in the UK, Germany, Ireland, and France.

Prior to joining the firm, Heather was a Partner at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (HPG), a North Carolina-based leading accounting firm.
