David L. Gresen

David L. Gresen is a Partner in the firm’s Forensic, Litigation & Valuation Services practice with 30 years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support. He assists attorneys, their clients, the courts, and businesses on matters involving matrimonial litigation, shareholder disputes, estate and gift tax planning, estate litigation, and damage claims.

Throughout his career, David has worked on more than 2,000 engagements and has been court-appointed as a business valuation and financial expert in hundreds of matters. He has provided expert testimony throughout the United States and works closely with legal professionals to analyze complex financial issues, develop supportable conclusions, and provide clear, defensible insights in litigation settings.

Prior to joining the firm, David was Managing Partner at KLG Business Valuators & Forensic Accountants, LLC, a business valuation and forensic accounting firm that provided litigation support, expert witness services, financial investigations, asset tracing, and economic damage analyses. Earlier in his career, he worked in the litigation consulting and bankruptcy services department of a large regional CPA firm and served on the audit staff of a global CPA firm.

David has also contributed to the field through publications, learning seminars, and continuing education programs focused on business valuation, forensic accounting, family law, and financial analysis. His contributions include co-authoring A CPA’s Guide to Family Law Services, chairing a committee on AI and business valuations, publishing articles on business valuation and tax-related issues in matrimonial matters, and presenting to legal, accounting, and judicial audiences on business valuation, forensic accounting, tax return analysis, and emerging issues affecting valuation and litigation support engagements.
