Daniel L. Utz

Dan Utz is an Audit Partner with more than 20 years of public accounting experience. Among the industry sectors that Dan serves are manufacturing, distribution, consumer and industrial services, transportation, and franchising, owned by private equity funds, families, and individuals.

Dan also assists clients within a wide variety of areas including complex accounting matters, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and other general business consulting services. He develops a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and has a practical approach to develop solutions to complex matters.

Dan is actively involved in training firm professionals, implementation of new accounting and auditing standards, and recruiting firm talent.

Prior to joining the firm, Dan was an Audit Partner at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm, which provided clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning and wealth management, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries including healthcare, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate and more. Before Lurie, he spent over 12 years with a Big 4 accounting firm.
