Damien Cassell

Damien Cassell is a Partner in the firm. With nearly 25 years of experience in public accounting, Damien specializes in providing audit and assurance services to clients in the construction and real estate industries, primarily focusing on the affordable housing sector. 

Damien is deeply committed to utilizing his extensive experience to offer top-tier consulting services. His goal is to help clients maximize their returns while ensuring full compliance with HUD, RD, and IRS regulations. To keep pace with the dynamic trends in the affordable housing industry, Damien annually attends multiple conferences across the nation. One of Damien's most notable professional achievements was assisting Good Neighbors of Central Ohio in securing their 501(c)(3) status. Serving as both a board member and treasurer for the organization, Damien played a crucial role in helping them in their mission. Good Neighbors of Central Ohio is dedicated to supporting the homeless community in Central Ohio by providing essential clothing and supplies during the harsh winter months. 

Prior to joining the firm, Damien was a Partner in Tidwell Group, LLC, a full-service accounting firm specializing in the real estate sector across the United States, with a focus on affordable housing, conventional real estate, and not-for-profit industries.  Before this role, Damien worked at two regional public accounting firms, providing audit and tax services to a variety of industries.
