EisnerAmper is pleased to announce that Nancy Clark, a manager in the firm’s Health Care Services Group, was awarded the esteemed Fellow designation by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). This designation recognizes extensive subject-matter expertise, community involvement and volunteer assistance, contribution of articles and materials to publications and online resources, speaking engagements, mentorships, and serving on the AAPC’s National Advisory Board.

Nancy has more than 20 years of experience, which includes health care consulting, medical coding and billing, audits, accounting and business management. She also interprets and reports data for health care litigation clients. Her credentials include Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Professional Biller (CPB), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) and Certified Professional Coding Instructor (CPC-I).

In addition to her AAPC involvement, Nancy is a coordinator of the New Jersey Medical Coding and Billing Conference, and a member of the Novitas Medicare Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group. She is also a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

“The AAPC Fellow designation is awarded to only the most experienced professionals, such as Nancy, who personify being a tireless resource to the health care community,” says Ron Dreskin, the Principal-in-Charge of EisnerAmper’s Health Care Services Group. “And just as the AAPC Fellow is considered the complete resource for coding and reimbursement, EisnerAmper Health Care Services strives to be the complete resource for physician and hospital client needs.”
