Karen L. Goldberg Joins EisnerAmper

Trusts and Estates Expert to be a Principal in Firm’s Tax Practice

EisnerAmper today announced that Karen L. Goldberg, JD, LLM, has joined the firm as a Principal in the firm’s Tax practice.

Karen has more than 20 years of experience providing specialized expertise in estate planning for closely held business owners, senior corporate executives and other high net-worth individuals. Her expertise includes an in-depth knowledge of post-mortem planning and fiduciary income tax.

“Karen is a highly sought after trusts and estates professional and her legal background adds even greater depth to our tax practice”, said Chris Loiacono, co-lead of the EisnerAmper Tax practice. “Our high net worth tax clients often require specialized knowledge in estate and gift planning, which are increasingly complex areas, and Karen’s skills in client service will be of significant value to the firm going forward”, Loiacono said.

Karen is a frequent lecturer on trusts and estates topics at professional forums. She is President of the Estate Planning Council of New York City.

Prior to joining EisnerAmper, Karen led the Private Client Services group of a national accounting firm. She received both her JD and LLM degrees from Boston University, and lives in New York City.
