EisnerAmper announced today that it has signed a lease with Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE:BDN) for approximately 42,000 square feet of premier office space at One Logan Square in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a result of the deal, brokered by Jeff Seligsohn of SSH Real Estate, the firm will consolidate its two offices in the Greater Philadelphia region into this new Center City location in November 2015. The move, made possible in part by the Philadelphia Jobs Creation Tax Credit, will allow the firm to create new jobs, increase efficiencies, and foster new opportunities for employees.
Charly Weinstein, EisnerAmper CEO, pointed to the strategic value of the Philadelphia location as a significant factor in the decision. “It is central to our strategic plan to be front and center in the markets we serve in order to position ourselves for growth. Philadelphia is such an important piece of the puzzle, and expanding our presence in Center City will provide many advantages to better serve our clients. We’re excited to be even more prominent in the city’s thriving business community,” said Weinstein.
“Philadelphia has become a growing destination for business and industry in recent years, and more people are choosing to live in the city every day. With a vibrant cultural scene, leading learning institutions, and a thriving entrepreneurial community, our new location in Center City will bring new opportunities which are unmatched in the region,” Partner-in-Charge of EisnerAmper’s Philadelphia practice.
“The recently passed Philadelphia Jobs Creation Tax Credit was a real game-changer in terms of helping us make the decision to move our suburban group into Center City,” added Reiner. “We are delighted to be where our roots go back to 1919.”
“We welcome EisnerAmper’s new consolidated office to the City of Philadelphia. Their commitment to the city reinforces Philadelphia’s prominence as a key place to do business as well as a place where companies like EisnerAmper can attract new talent to their current and future business operations,” said Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, Alan Greenberger. “As Philadelphia continues to add population, particularly of educated and talented young people, businesses will find the City to be a more attractive place to locate, further securing our growing national and international reputation.”
“We are delighted to welcome such a high quality and prestigious firm as EisnerAmper to the Brandywine family. EisnerAmper’s excellent reputation and practice diversity reinforces the appeal and stability of our Philadelphia CBD portfolio,” stated Gerard H. Sweeney, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brandywine Realty Trust. “We also appreciate EisnerAmper’s continued confidence in Brandywine as a provider for the firm’s real estate needs and for choosing Center City Philadelphia as their preferred location,” added Sweeney.
In addition to new office space and employee amenities, the firm is building a state of the art training center in order to provide educational programming and thought leadership to staff, clients, and the larger business community.
