EisnerAmper CEO Charly Weinstein appeared on Cheddar TV—often called the “CNBC for Millennials”—to discuss one of his favorite subjects: technology. Most of the conversation centered on the ever-growing threat to organizations’ data security.
In the recent aftermath of high-profile cyber breaches, such as Quest Diagnostics and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Charly talked about the serious need for truly holistic business advisors to have both the experts and technology in place to proactively counter the bad actors who are constantly refining their malicious cyber-practices.
Charly cited EisnerAmper’s recent merger with Computer Systems and Methods, a leading managed IT security services firm. As the distinction between business advisory and technology advisory services continues to shrink, Charly foresees more of these types of M&As where clients can receive end-to-end data protection and remediation services.
