Move Strengthens Firm’s Real Estate Practice

EisnerAmper is pleased to announce that Carol Surowiec has joined the firm as a tax partner in the firm’s national Real Estate Services Group.

Concentrating primarily on pass-through entities with a heavy emphasis on real estate, Carol has more than 30 years of public accounting experience serving a wide range of clients from individual entrepreneurs to multinational companies—both publicly traded and closely held.

Carol has deep expertise in federal and state taxation matters as well as representing clients before taxing authorities. During her extensive career in both national and regional accounting firms, she has served clients in the real estate, construction, manufacturing and distribution industries.

“With our growing national real estate practice dedicated to serving this sector, it’s exciting to add a team member with Carol’s experience and tax knowledge,” said Kenneth Weissenberg, Co-Leader of the firm’s Real Estate Services Group. “We look forward to working with Carol to further enhance our real estate footprint in Florida.”

Carol, who will be based in EisnerAmper’s Miami office, has a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University. She serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami and has served as Treasurer of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County. She is also the Past President and Treasurer of the Women's Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami.
