May 17, 2016

Leading Strategic Planning and Operations Management Consultant Adds Expertise and Resources to Serve Fast Growing Industry Sector

EisnerAmper today announced that Bert Orlov, former partner of the Stamford, Connecticut-based health care advisory and consulting firm, Integrated Healthcare Consulting LLC, has joined the Health Care Services Practice as a Director.

While at Integrated Healthcare, Orlov provided strategic planning and operations management services to clients including Physician Groups/Faculty Practices, Hospital Systems/Academic Medical Centers, Entrepreneurial Funders and Ventures, and Not for Profit Providers. Ron Dreskin, EisnerAmper Health Care Services practice leader, said “A consistent theme of Bert’s consulting efforts has been the imperative to respond, proactively, to a changing marketplace. His clients appreciate this leadership and we look forward to deploying his skills throughout the practice.”

Orlov, and the entire Health Care Services team, believe that the expanded services offered by the practice will bring an even more powerful focus on clients taking action to ensure their own future success in an increasingly consolidated market.  “Scale and strategic positioning are key,” observed Orlov.  “So helping practices consolidate for scale and optimize the value of ancillaries is of immediate concern. Further, assisting hospitals and systems in building and managing community-based networks is critical, as is counseling investors on how to better identify the most significant new businesses in the new world of “value based” care.  Furthermore, maximizing efficiency of operations and integrating new care management approaches and technologies will enable our clients to thrive,” he said.

Orlov has more than 25 years of healthcare consulting experience and is frequently published in journals such as Becker’s Hospital CFO. He is a sought-after speaker and instructor recently collaborating with the University of Pennsylvania faculty on a strategy for primary care practices. He was previously the Director of Operations for the Healthcare Business Process Outsourcing division of Computer Sciences Corporation. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
