William Thiele

William Thiele is a Tax Manager within the firm’s Private Client Services practice. With nearly 15 years of experience, he provides tax compliance and consulting services to a broad range of individual and business clients, helping them navigate complex federal, state, and local tax requirements while identifying planning opportunities aligned with their financial goals.

 

Will’s experience includes managing multi-jurisdictional tax filings, researching and interpreting evolving tax regulations, and advising clients on proactive tax strategies. He brings particular depth in nonprofit taxation, regularly working with tax-exempt organizations on Form 990 compliance, governance considerations, regulatory requirements, and unrelated business income matters. His background also includes financial planning and performance analysis, cash flow oversight, reporting and rate analysis, and support of operational and strategic initiatives. In addition, he serves as a firmwide resource for cloud-based accounting, supporting clients and internal teams with system setup, reporting optimization, training, bookkeeping cleanup, and best practices that promote accurate financial data and efficient accounting processes.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Will served as Controller of the Transportation Department for a large manufacturing company, where he acted as the sole accountant for a multi-location operation.
