Vasili Markos

Vasili Markos is a Senior Audit Manager in the firm’s Financial Services practice. With nearly 10 years of experience Vasili primarily serves venture capital and private equity fund clients. He provides audit and assurance services to investment funds and works closely with clients to address complex accounting, financial reporting, and valuation matters.

 

Vasili manages all phases of audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, analytical procedures, substantive testing, financial statement review, and engagement completion. He supervises and develops engagement teams, coordinates staffing and budgeting, and serves as a key liaison between clients and firm leadership. His experience includes technical accounting matters involving ASC 323, ASC 606, ASC 810, ASC 820, and ASC 842, as well as investment valuation testing and waterfall calculations.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Vasili worked at a global accounting firm, where he supported audit engagements through internal control testing, substantive procedures, analytical reviews, and financial reporting activities.
