Tony Trautman is a Manager in the firm with more than 10 years of experience. Tony specializes in tax services including federal and state tax compliance, closely held businesses and finance and state indirect tax (sales and use).
As an experienced member of the firm’s Private Client Services Group, Tony helps provide solutions to complicated tax compliance issues for clients. Tony also has prepared tax returns for various high net worth individuals and business entities and developed / tracked compliance and business development protocols for his team to grow and expedite their daily tasks. Tony’s favorite part of the job is to connect with his younger staff, providing internal training to his colleagues around various tax updates and tax technology and accounting software updates.
Prior to joining the firm, Tony was a manager at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm, which provided clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning, wealth management and advisory services, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries including health care, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate and more.
