J. Timmons Robinson (Tim) is a Tax Director in the firm. Tim has over 35 years of experience in public accounting, with an additional two years in physician practice management. Tim has worked with clients in many industries, including medical, construction, real estate, wholesale, retail, legal, and service.
Tim's areas of concentration include gift, estate and trust, inpats/expats, income tax planning, compliance, business consulting, and financial planning for owner-managed business clients, high-net-worth individuals, and company executives.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim was a Tax Director at Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (HPG), a leading North Carolina-based accounting firm. He was previously with a Big 4 accounting firm, where he led the Personal Financial Services practice for the Carolinas and Tennessee region. Tim began his career at a national firm as a Tax Associate.
