Sebastian Haugen

Sebastian Haugen is a Senior Associate in the firm's Technology Controls and Risk practice, where he supports clients across a range of regulatory and cybersecurity compliance frameworks. Since joining the firm, he has led and contributed to engagements involving SOC 1 Type 1 and Type 2 readiness and examinations, HITRUST i1 and e1 assessments, NIST 800-53 evaluations, HIPAA compliance reviews, and ISO certification readiness initiatives.

 

Sebastian specializes in assessing IT general controls, cybersecurity risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance environments for both public and private organizations. He works closely with client leadership to identify control gaps, strengthen governance structures, and implement practical, risk-based recommendations that enhance overall security posture and operational resilience.

 

Prior to joining EisnerAmper, Sebastian gained experience at a national accounting and consulting firm, where he supported technology risk management and security control engagements. He also worked as a Strategic Marketing Consultant at a technology-focused organization, applying analytical and project management skills to deliver data-driven business solutions.

 

In addition to his professional work, Sebastian serves as a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard, where he manages munitions systems and logistics operations, bringing a disciplined and accountability-driven approach to leadership and execution.
