Samuel Blocker is a senior manager in EisnerAmper's Cyber Risk Services practice with nearly ten years of experience in cyber risk assessments and regulatory compliance. He works with public, private, and governmental clients across the construction, education, government, health care, insurance, legal, and technology sectors.
Samuel assesses cyber risk using frameworks and standards including NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 42001, and the HIPAA Security and Privacy Rules.
Prior to joining EisnerAmper, Samuel worked at a global law firm, contributing to risk management, third-party vendor management, data loss prevention, and business continuity programs. He responded to client audits, managed the firm's certification audits, and worked with consultants and internal teams to establish a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) and an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) in preparation for ISO 27701 and ISO 42001 certifications. Earlier, he worked at an accounting and business advisory firm.
