Peter Belthoff

Peter Belthoff is a Senior Manager with nearly 10 years of experience in public and private accounting. Peter provides audit services to public and privately held companies and their employee benefit plans. He is responsible for all phases of the audit, including supervision, planning, organization, any technical issues, and review of the fieldwork.
As a member of the Pension Services Group,

Peter manages employee benefit plan audits, including 401(k)s, and defined benefit plans. He consults with clients and is responsible for the supervision and review of staff and work product, including detailed testing.

Peter understands the reporting and regulatory requirements unique to these types of audits, and he stays abreast of changes in the employee benefit plans landscape, including recent accounting standards updates and required implementation.

Additionally, Peter assists clients with financial statement reporting under statutory accounting, GAAP and fund accounting standards and has experience with revenue recognition and acquisition accounting.
Peter assist with the firm’s internal training of staff, and the mentoring and recruitment of new employees.
