Lourdes Kusnir

Lourdes Kusnir is a senior manager in the firm’s Private Client Services practice with 15 years of experience providing tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and family groups. She serves clients across the restaurant, hospitality, nightclub, supermarket, broadcasting, commercial real estate, and family business sectors.

Lourdes advises business owners and investors on tax-efficient structuring, business operations, acquisitions, ownership changes, and succession planning. She has extensive experience with multistate taxation, state nexus issues, and complex state income tax filing requirements. She also provides tax planning and compliance services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, including owners of family businesses and privately held investment structures.

Her experience includes working closely with attorneys, trustees, beneficiaries, and family offices to implement estate planning strategies and administer complex trust structures. She prepares and reviews fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates and advises on wealth transfer and trust taxation matters. Lourdes also advises commercial real estate owners and investors on ownership structures, triple-net lease arrangements, depreciation strategies, cost segregation studies, and Section 1031 exchanges.

Prior to joining the firm, Lourdes was a tax senior manager with a regional accounting and advisory firm, where she managed tax engagements, supervised professionals, supported tax planning and risk minimization, and worked with clients and referral sources to expand relationships.
