Lekha Engineer is a Senior Consultant with the Risk & Compliance team in Advisory. Lekha has experience in reviewing IT General Controls for financial services organizations, including banks and insurance companies. She has also developed Alteryx workflows to automate interest income computation and journal entry analysis.
Lekha has worked on ITGC, SSAE 18, and ISAE 3402 engagements, including audit planning, conducting process walkthroughs, assessing control design and operating effectiveness, and preparing Risk Control Matrices for IT General Controls in line with ISA 315.
She has hands-on experience testing General IT Controls across various operating systems, databases, and applications. She also has experience testing automated business process controls related to payroll, loans and advances, and purchase and payables. She also specializes in journal entry analysis and building Alteryx workflows in collaboration with the assurance team to perform additional procedures across various applications.
Lekha began her professional career at a Big 4 accounting firm.
