Lee Carames

Lee Carames is a senior consultant in the firm’s Cyber Risk Services practice with five years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy. Lee works with organizations across government, financial institutions, higher education, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and professional services.

Lee’s experience includes cybersecurity and privacy assessments, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, governance and policy development, and control validation. Lee works with NIST frameworks, including CSF, 800-53, and 800-171, and supports organizations with FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, CALEA, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 requirements. Lee also provides privacy program and technical privacy consulting and performs technical assessments, including network scanning, penetration testing, and scripting.

Lee’s experience also includes technical implementation of platforms and systems, audit evidence management, and helping organizations evaluate and strengthen cybersecurity and privacy controls.

Prior to joining the firm, Lee was a beverage director with an international luxury hotel group, where responsibilities included distributor and brand relationships, inventory management, menu development, event management, staff management, and international brand coordination.
