Johnathan Thibodeaux

Johnathan Thibodeaux is a Manager in the firm's Assurance Technology Control Services (ATCS) Practice. Johnathan has nearly 10 years of experience working with clients in a variety of industries, with a particular focus in financial institutions, other financial services, commercial entities, and governmental organizations.

Johnathan brings a hands-on approach to internal control evaluations and regulatory compliance projects. He has led engagements focused on internal audit (both outsourced and co-sourced), SOC 1 and SOC 2 exams, SOC 2 readiness, agreed-upon procedures (AUP), BSA/AML compliance, and ACH compliance. His work also spans IT general controls, including the IT control assurance portion for financial statement audits, risk analyses, and process improvement initiatives, allowing clients to identify operational vulnerabilities and implement sustainable improvements.

He is well-versed in designing audit procedures, conducting interviews, assessing fraud risks, and preparing executive-ready reports for management and oversight committees. His experience extends to FDICIA IT controls testing and the reengineering of IT and financial statement processes, making him a valuable resource for organizations navigating both compliance mandates and digital transformation.

Prior to joining the firm, Johnathan was a Manager at Postlethwaite & Netterville (P&N), a leading full-service accounting and business advisory firm.
