Heather Le Clair

Heather Elizabeth M. Le Clair is a Director in the firm's State and Local Tax Services Group. With more than two decades of experience in accounting and consulting, Heather advises clients on complex multistate tax matters. She works with both public and private companies, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals to navigate evolving state tax regulations with precision and foresight.

Heather's experience includes sales and use tax consulting, controversy support, nexus and exposure analyses, voluntary disclosure agreements, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. She works closely with clients to assess risk, identify compliance opportunities, and design strategies that align tax obligations with broader business objectives.

Before joining the firm, Heather served in senior leadership roles at Big Four and mid-sized accounting firms, where she led multistate tax consulting engagements in a variety of industries, including professional services, financial institutions, and technology.
