Dian Patton

Dian Patton is a Senior Manager in EisnerAmper’s Financial Services Tax Group. With more than a decade of experience, she provides tax compliance and advisory services to private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds, and fund-of-funds.

Dian’s work includes preparing and reviewing complex partnership and corporate tax returns, analyzing fund structures, and advising on Section 743(b) and 704(c) allocations. She also guides clients through state and local tax planning, including PTET and SALT compliance, and collaborates with fund managers and high-net-worth investors on structuring strategies that align with long-term goals. In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, Dian supports senior leadership with technical research, process improvements, and relationship management, helping strengthen both client service and internal efficiency.

Prior to joining EisnerAmper, Dian was a Tax Manager at a big 4 accounting firm, where she managed compliance and consulting engagements for private equity, hedge fund, and venture capital clients, including international reporting and fund structuring.
