Danielle Epps is a Manager in the firm's Healthcare Advisory practice with 25 years of experience helping hospitals, health systems, and physician group practices improve financial performance, cash flow, and operational efficiency. She has extensive experience serving rural and specialty hospitals, large hospital systems, and academic medical centers.

 

Danielle specializes in revenue cycle transformation, including patient access, billing, claims management, financial counseling, denial and underpayment resolution, and operational process improvement. She helps healthcare organizations identify workflow gaps, analyze denial and payment trends, develop performance metrics, and implement practical improvements that increase efficiency, reduce write-offs, and accelerate collections.

 

Her experience also includes optimizing workflows within Epic and Cerner, developing and monitoring key performance indicators, supporting coding and compliance initiatives, and designing training programs for providers, coders, and operational teams. Danielle has served in interim leadership and engagement management roles, guiding complex projects while helping client teams build sustainable internal capabilities.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Danielle held healthcare advisory roles with global, national, and regional consulting firms. Her experience included leading rural healthcare advisory initiatives, managing revenue cycle improvement engagements, supporting electronic health record implementations, and advising healthcare organizations on performance management, denial reduction, and operational transformation.
